ProStar Online™ is a web based data management system implemented on a robust, secure, business-rules based, Microsoft infrastructure. ProStar Online manages the full life cycle of utility asset data collection and management, from initial project specification through data collection operations and data distribution.

ProStar Online is designed to service multiple, simultaneous users with secure network links through Project View functionality software. Project personnel can view GIS data from any browser installed with an appropriate plug-in. This can occur in real-time, as the data points are gathered in the field. ProStar Online uses any available communication service to synchronize data from the field to the office and vice-versa. These services can include mobile, wireless internet or radio frequency link data services. Through ProStar Online’s synchronization services, communication and thus collaboration is significantly improved. Project managers have visibility into the field during the intraday work session, viewing work progress as it occurs.
